Our collection is carefully curated from around the world., focusing mostly on independent makers in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the United States who bring their love of things Celtic to their work. Sure, sometimes we buy from larger firms that manufacture elsewhere but these small makers are far and away our favorites.

Here are some of their stories:

Decanters from

REC ETCH

Husband and wife, Timothy (an industrial designer) and Tanessa (a visual artist/therapist) have combined their love for beautiful aesthetics, delicious cocktails and creative technology to make the vintage inspired decanters and barware of Reclamation Etchworks. When the need arose for a way to decant large format spirit bottles for an upcoming holiday gathering, they found mutual inspiration to recreate a relic of the past with modern day appeal, and the Variance decanter was born. Founded in 2013 and initially funded by a successful Kickstarter Campaign, Rec Etch is now located in a studio in Santa Rosa, CA where Tim and Tanessa run the business full time and are ever so grateful to be able to work from home so as not to miss the first years of their 2 young children’s lives. While Tanessa’s degree in Fine Art and 20+ years of business management have rounded out the company, Tim continues to experiment with new techniques in product design.

ART ON SCARVES

Art on Scarves was started by North Wales based artist, Lucy Hay to show case her drawings and designs by hand printing them onto beautiful Cashmere Scarves. Lucy's drawings are a whimsical take on the inspiration she finds around her - the beauty of the countryside, the diversity of the wildlife and the warmth of the people who live there.

Water Bottles from

CREATED BY THE RIDLEYS

Founded in 2014 by Tracy Ridley, Created By The Ridleys was born from a frustration of trying to find that perfect gift which hadn't started its life in a factory abroad, whilst being of the highest quality and at an affordable price. Still working full-time, Tracy spent every spare minute shut away designing and perfecting products. When she was 100% happy with her creations, supported by Sylvia her mother-in-law, she spent her weekends exhibiting at local craft fairs and agricultural shows. Tracy has since given up the day job and now works full-time in the business. She also has her own fabric which lines all her products depicting water colour paintings from Dunfermline based artist - The Arty Penguin. Created By The Ridleys continues to grow its portfolio of products whilst keeping the customer at the heart of everything they do. Sylvia is now retired but always on hand to help out at busy times and can still be spotted at the odd event with Tracy.
