Description
Allergen statement: hibiscus is intercropped with peanuts. Hibiscus may contain peanuts.
Toddies are named for the toddy drink in India, created from the toddy palm, then carried to Scotland by the east India company as a hot whiskey drink of water, honey, herbs, and spices.
Size/type: 3 oz spices - brews up to 3 gallons Ingredients: cinnamon sticks, hibiscus petals, ginger, all spice Shelf life: 3 years For 8 servings: - Boil 4 cups of water
- Add 2-3 tablespoon of spice blend and cinnamon sticks (to taste) to muslin bag
- Steep 10-15 minutes then add honey to taste
- Add 4 cups of cold water - Refrigerate overnight or add ice to cool - Pour in tumblers filled with ice, add up to 2 oz of your favorite summer alcohol (dark rum, tequila, vodka or gin) to each glass. Stir and garnish with lime Hand blended and packaged by Oliver Pluff & Co. in Charleston, South Carolina.
