Description
Toddies are named for the toddy drink in India, created from the toddy palm, then carried to Scotland by the east India company as a hot whiskey drink of water, honey, herbs, and spices. Oliver pluff's summer toddies bring those spices to cool and refresh you on the warmest days!
Size/type: 1.5 oz spices - brews up to 1 gallon Ingredients: Cinnamon sticks, black tea, ginger, lemon peel, cloves, bergamot Shelf life: 3 years For 4 servings: - Boil 4 cups of water
- Add 1 tablespoon of spice blend and cinnamon sticks (to taste) to muslin bag
- Steep 8-10 minutes then add honey to taste. - Refrigerate overnight or add ice to cool. - Pour in tumblers filled with ice, stir in 2 oz of rye whiskey to each glass add a splash of orange bitters. Garnish with orange. Hand blended and packaged by Oliver Pluff & Co. in Charleston, South Carolina.
